Memorial Day

Every year I go out on the Sunday of Memorial Day weekend and decorate graves. Three of my four grandparents have passed away and the majority of my great-grandparents are buried in Alpine, American Fork and Pleasant Grove (the majority are in PG). I really enjoy visiting their graves and dropping off flowers. By the look of other visitors out this year that the tradition will be unfortunately short lived (a lot of old folks wearing welding glasses and taking flowers from the yard and putting them on their loved ones graves).

Next year over the Memorial Day Weekend we plan on visiting and decorating every direct ancestor of ours within the state. We estimate it will take the entire three day weekend to visit every grave.
